Florida's climate is hard on a log home. Pollen, dust, dirt, mildew, moisture and intense sunlight all wear down the stain and the protective finish, and without regular care that deterioration speeds up. Our Annual Log Home Maintenance Plan keeps your home clean, preserves the finish it already has, and extends the life of the exterior wood.

Annual Log Home Cleaning

Once a year we clean your log home with methods made for log and timber construction, not conventional siding. Every annual visit includes:

A professional log wash formulated for log homes
Gentle cleaning with soft brushes where it's needed
A low-pressure water rinse
Removal of pollen, dust, dirt and other surface contaminants
A visual assessment of the exterior wood and finish

We Don't Use Pressure Washers

We do not use pressure washers for annual maintenance cleaning. High-pressure water can damage wood fibers, force water into checks and joints, and wear away a stain that still had years of life in it.

Instead we use log wash, soft brushes and low-pressure water. That gets the home clean while protecting the logs and the finish you already paid for.

Third-Year UV Protection

Every third year, after cleaning and preparation, we apply a fresh coat of Advance UV Protector to exterior stained surfaces as appropriate. It renews the finish and adds protection against sunlight, moisture and Florida's demanding weather.
